The first half of the course covers thin-film and microstructure fabrication techniques and the second half of the course covers characterization techniques. Abstract

3 Center for Materials for Information Technology an NSF Materials Science and Engineering Center Philosophy A day in the library is worth a week in the laboratory. –Provided one knows how to utilize the library facilities. –Provided one knows how to utilize the laboratory facilities. A rejected abstract is read only once. Nobody reads unpublished results. A good conference presentation is the first step toward building a network of potential employers.
