2 But first….. Nouns in Spanish: All nouns in Spanish, even is they refer to objects, are either masculine or feminine Nouns ending in –o are usually masculine. Ex. libro, chico, caballo Nouns ending in –a are usually feminine. Ex. música, chica, bicicleta For all other nouns( nouns not ending in –o or –a), you must look at the (definite/indefinite) article to know whether it is masculine or feminine. Ex. el arból

3 Definite Articles Definite articles are used in English to indicate specific persons, places, or things. In English: the The boy is tall.El chico es alto.definite article
