Bylaws – Alumni Membership to be added to Article III: Section 2 Alumni Membership: Persons who have met the above criteria for membership and have been a member of CSDP for five consecutive years, but have left their position and would therefore not be eligible for membership under items a. and b. of Section 1 may be approved for Alumni Membership by the Board of Directors under the following conditions: a)Said member was a member in good standing for five consecutive years b)Said member is not employed by an organization that would disqualify them for membership under item a of Section 1. c)The Board of Directors votes by a simple majority to grant Alumni Membership status d)Said member agrees to undertake the same requirements as a regular member as outlined in items c, d, e, f and g of Section 1. Note: The Board of Directors reserves the right to remove an Alumni Membership for any of the reasons listed in Section 5, Termination of Membership. Grounds for removal include but are not limited to: a) Marketing the products or services of the company the Alumni Member works for to CSDP Members at a regular membership meeting or via the CSDP Listserv. b)Being in any position where involvement with CSDP might present a conflict of interest based on one’s role in a new position.
