Enhancing the nation’s health and wellbeing Improving health and care services – resulting in better patient outcomes Improving integration between primary, secondary and social care Identifying ways of reducing health and social care costs at scale Testing and incubating innovations that could be spread more widely Undertaking pragmatic, yet robust trials of combinations of innovations Laying the foundations for boosting economic growth Support the NHS to lead the world in developing and implementing digital care systems Focus on any digital innovations, which could include Internet of Things technologies Focus on Internet of Things technologies Test Beds funding available to NHS Test Beds funding available to NHS and UK-based commercial organisations Key messages:

4 Applying to be a Test Bed
A single application process for all Test Beds Led by an NHS organisation (associated with one of the 33 sites) But involving partnerships between NHS and innovators Partnerships to declare if they have an Internet of Things focus Applications will need to be clear on : The challenge and opportunity the Test Bed is focused on Details of the project and how it will deliver Expected benefits and required investment (including from innovators) More details on the application process will be provided in early September Key messages:

Building your partnership Only NHS sites that have already expressed an interest will be invited to lead an application We have provided the matchmaking process to help facilitate partnerships – but you can build partnerships with innovators not here today We anticipate funding will be available over three years – subject to the spending review Funding for ‘standard’ Test Beds will be focused on supporting NHS sites – amount to be determined on a case-by-case basis Funding for Internet of Things focused Test Beds is available to both innovators and the NHS Funding Key messages:
