3  Florida Everglades, Kenya, Madagascar, Tanzania all have major Mangrove swamps

4  Typically show up in areas where the tempeture does not drop below 66 degrees, and have high amounts of annual precipitation.

5  Mangroves are various kinds of trees up to medium height and shrubs that grow in saline coastal sediment habitats in the tropics and subtropics.  Usually warm, coastal areas, with where sediments collect because of movement from waves.

6  Mangrove trees.

7  Crocodiles, sand hill crane, Pythons, Mudskippers, Crabs, Honeyeaters, flying foxes.

9  Over the past 25 years, 20 percent of the world’s mangroves have been destroyed.  Mangroves act as coastal protection.  Create material needed for reefs to develop  The Mangrove trees create their own fresh water from sea water.  What we have left today is 50 percent of the natural Mangrove forests, quite a bit has been destroyed.
