KEY TERMS Fraction –A number in the form of a which represents a b part of a whole Numerator –The top number of a fraction, and it represents the part of the whole (how much you have) Denominator –The bottom number of a fraction, and it represents the total number in the group. Equivalent Fraction –Two or more fractions that represent the same part. (equal fractions) Simplest Form –When a numerator and denominator have a GCF of 1
