4. Fort Ticonderoga Captured! May 10, 1775- Ethan Allen led an attack on British Fort Ticonderoga in NY. Americans take the fort and capture some Artillery. This Artillery would be moved to Boston to help force the British out.

5. Battle at Bunker and Breeds Hill! Two large hills outside Boston June 1775-Americans built fortifications on Breeds Hill, commanded by William Prescott British attack with 2,200 troops “Don’t fire until you see the whites of their eyes!” British Victory –1,000 redcoats killed or wounded –400 Americans killed or wounded
