Request for more support We received a request from TF to provide for the support of more children this time. They would like ASHA to support an additional 50 children ( Their original request in 2013 was for 123 children) Cost per child as per budget is ~ $282. Based on how much additional funds ASHA is willing to release, they will provide us an updated budget.

Why fund them? TF is a well organized effort with a proven ability to affect the lives of these children for the better over the past 23 years We have had a good working relationship with them with prompt, transparent and sincere communication for the past 8 years. The mother project has had remarkable success – 87% of the students in this program passed the annual exam in 2011-2012 – Retention rate of students was up to 96% They are working towards increasing parent participation which is in line with ASHA’s view of an NGO eventually having a self sustaining formula.
