2. Overview and Expectations During class we have been discussing the various fields, or segments, of Engineering. Pick the field of Engineering that interests you the most, and prepare a report about that field of Engineering. You will be spending several class days reading selected materials to research the field of Robotics Engineering that interests you. Use your time wisely and ask for help if you cannot find what you are looking for.

3. The report should include the following: The nature of the work (what does this person do?), Job responsibilities (types of things done on a daily basis), Training necessary to enter this field (two-year degree, four year degree, internship, etc.), Advancement possibilities (will they get promoted, are there supervisory positions?), Future outlook for this career (will it be around in two, five, ten years?), Average salary (starting salary), Education requirements (do they have to go to college or attain licensing?).

4. Overview and Expectations The report should: be at least six pages of typed text and information, (use a 10 point font) include a title page with a graphic (Page 1 of 6), Graphic is to be no larger than 3” x 3”, and a bibliography citing all resources used, including websites (Page 6 of 6).
