2 The Living City The Living City is a collaborative initiative among business, communities, governments and other stakeholders to create and deliver programs that achieve significant, measurable change in the sustainability of city regions Under this sustainable community banner, hospitals are invited to work together through Greening Health Care towards excellence in energy efficiency and environmental management This collaborative model is being extended to hospitals across Ontario

4 Greening Health Care A program to help hospitals work together to improve energy and water use efficiency, lower emissions of solid waste and pollution, and be recognized for fiscal and environmental stewardship Workshops Benchmarking Funding & Resources lower energy & operating costs reduced environmental impact infrastructure renewal government & utility funding fiscal & environmental stewardship
