2  Benjamin Franklin was a successful man. He discovered electricity by tying a key to the end of a kite during a thunderstorm. This kite with a key on the end is commonly called a lightning rod. He is an entrepreneur because even though odds were against him he toke a chance and it turned into a success.

3 John Deere was a man who successfully invented the steel plow by using a broken steel blade. His invention now has turned into lawn mowers that keep yards looking fresh. In 1837, John founded his own company with his invention. While his invention made him successful in 1843 he partnered up with Leonard Andrus. Both of them successfully created more than 100 plows. Because of John Deere’s creation he has made a farmer’s job easier.

4 At a young age Bill Gates showed an interest in computer programing. Later on he pursued his interest in computer programing and created the first largest software business with his partner Paul Allen which is known as Microsoft today. Microsoft is now a billion dollar company which has brought lots of cash to Bill. His money made him the richest man alive.

5 Mark created Facebook on February 4 th 2004. Facebook was intended for the use of college students in Harvard, but later on they launched it for other college students outside of Harvard. He and his college roommates created Facebook while they were in their dorm at Harvard. Now at the age of 28 he has let his website be used by all to communicate and play games with friends and family. Due to Zuckerburg’s success he dropped out of Harvard. Facebook has made him the youngest billionaire in the world.

6  Thomas is given credit for inventing the first flushable toilet in the late 1800’s. He is an entrepreneur because even though everyone didn’t think to make a place to do their business and have it leave when you are done. Another thing is he is the reason we say crap to substitute the word poop.
