2 Behavior “No one has the right to interfere with the learning, safety, or well-being of another.” From the Make Your Day Program Rewards   auctions (quarterly) parties (October, December, February, May)   positive calls & letters home   “ice cream” Fridays   positive sense of accomplishment (intrinsic)

3 Behavior Consequences  “Step 1”—student has chosen to remove self from group & sit facing wall, allowing him/her time to think about behavior (from “Make Your Day”).  exclusion from parties, fun classroom activities, & field trips  isolation in class—desk removed from group  negative phone calls home  referral to office

4 Behavior  Students are at the age where they are expected to practice self control  Personal responsibility is a must as they, and they only, are responsible for their behavior
