WELCOME TO THE HSC UPDATE FOR DECEMBER 2006

Gloria, a 3-month-old girl from Hephzibah, was brought to the Health Services Centre twice due to her bad health situation in Dec. We know Father has wonderful plans for little Gloria’s life. We are delighted we can help her along the way.

Amos is a 3-month-old boy from Hope Haven who also had a serious health problem. The doctors and nurses of Health Services Centre looked after these two children day and night as soon as they reached HSC. Save me!

HOSPICE CARE Emma, a 9-year-old girl from Hephzibah, became seriously ill and spent 20 days in a local hospital for treatment. One day the hospital doctors told us that her case was hopeless. They said she would die. Then Emma was transferred to Health Services Centre where she has received loving care 24 hours a day. She passed away on 30 Dec. 2006.

I’m better and better, thanks to you all !

Wang says: “I’m so happy to learn to read and write, and to receive love and gifts from these special people.”

Wang’s family situation The picture on the right is her home (which is quite near Health Services Centre). On the left, you see Wang with her parents. Wang has to leave school because of the financial situation. Wang’s dream is to go to school again. We are happy to share Father’s love with this family.

Philip and Richard (nurse trainers from Australia) did First Aid and advanced CPR training for about 30 doctors and nurses of Bei Guan Hospital on Dec.27.

This repairman from Hephzibah cannot speak one word but has a ministry of service because of his willingness to help Health Services Centre by his actions.

Our Healthcare Team includes both medical and non- medical personnel. Angel works hard to keep Health Services Centre sparkling clean (and she has a heart of compassion, as well).

May’s birthday celebration They are so Kind.

HSC staff thanks YOU for your ongoing support Current needs: –An overseas full-time general practitioner (as well as short-term doctors) to provide consistent and continuous medical care for our children and community. –A permanent International Communications Officer to liaise with overseas teams, visitors, and others doing Healthcare work.

HSC staff thanks YOU for your ongoing support Current needs: –More financial support so that we can extend our services (such as free medical clinics and dental care) to more people in rural communities near Xi’an.
