3 Concrete & Abstract Nouns Concrete Noun: Can be experienced by the five senses – Pillow, dog, candy Abstract Noun: Can not be experienced by the five senses, usually idea nouns – Trust, hope, sadness

4 Singular & Plural Nouns Singular Noun: One person, place, thing or idea – Guitar, flower, cloud Abstract Noun: Multiple people, places, things or ideas – Pillows, dogs, deer

5 Common & Proper Nouns Common Noun: Names general items – Gas station, Television, Monkey Proper noun: Names a specific item. – Ellie, Mrs. Johnson, McDonald’s
