What is a theory? An explanation that is still unproven

How do we explain the Bering Land Bridge Theory? Who What When Where Why

Who were the first Americans? Hunter and gatherers

What did they do? These hunters/gatherers crossed from the continent of Asia to North America.

When and did they cross? During the last Ice Age about 10,000-100,000 years ago

Where did they cross? The Bering Strait, near Siberia and Alaska

Why did they cross? They followed the herds of animals that migrated over the land bridge

Could this be true? Do Asians and Native Americans share similar characteristics?

Do you have to believe this? No! Many Native American cultures disagree with this theory because it contradicts their religious beliefs. There are many theories about who the first Americans were. There is no solid evidence.
