1 Daily Journal Pronouns SSR Spelling/Vocab List 2

2 Start DJs on a new page.  In your own words define each category of Pronouns and give an example:  Personal  Reflexive  Interrogative  Demonstrative  Indefinite Turn in DJ. Make sure you turn in your definition page if you did them on List 2 sheet.

3  You will be assigned groups.  Take turns writing.  Must stay seated.  Collaborate and identify the pronoun(s) in each sentence.

4  We will be leaving for Jacksonville in the morning to visit our cousin.  You are not very comfortable with it.  Are those magazines that are lying on the coffee table yours?  Nobody really blames him for quitting that lousy job  Did you know that the Joneses have been friends of ours for many years?

5  Theresa looked at the strange vehicle and said, "What is that?"  Can you or somebody else help me with this?  Thank you for telling me. I didn't realize that.  This is what you want for your new car.  Do me this favor and I’ll give you that.

6  Who do you think will win this election?  Just what are you planning to do with that moose head?  Maria worked at that restaurant to put herself through college  We can do it ourselves if we really wanted to.

7  The street signs at this corner are confusing to everyone.  If you price your used car too high, nobody will buy it.  I believe that each child has his or her own assigned computer.  Most of the football players felt that they had been humiliated by the other team.  Didn't you notice that several of those antiques looked fake?

8  You will be put in two groups.  We will go in order of how you are sitting and you will be given a word to define.  If you misspell a word you will pull a block.  Winning team gets 5pts EC on test Friday.

9  Make sure you are seated and reading when the bell rings and continue to do so for the entire 20 minutes.  Remember this time is worth 10% of your grade!

10  Study for 3 minutes.  Clear desks of everything but a pencil.  Take spelling test and vocabulary test.
