2. What we do Practice difficult math problems in preparation for math competitions. Learn mathematical knowledge and concepts beyond the level of your regular math classes

3. Why do we do it To become more advanced in our regular math classes and possibly accelerate to higher level classes. To perform exceptionally at math competitions Because we are passionate about math, and learning new strategies and creative processes will help us in the future.

4. Should you join? If you are interested in diving into more complicated problems and find regular math class too easy. If you are able to consistently allocate time to practicing math. If you have the motivation to be competent in math competitions If you consider math a hobby, not a labor

5. Competition MathCounts – Chapter + State AMC 8 – National Examination held in school AMC 10

6. My Results 7 th place overall at MathCounts Chapter Competition Distinguished Honor Roll in AMC 8/10 1st place in Precalculus Division (Math is Cool State) 4 th place at Mu Alpha Theta State competition
