2 What is Forensic Science
Forensic Science is the use of Science in the field of law. It has many different branches that all deal with different forms of science such as biology or physics. What is Forensic Science

3 What does a Forensic Scientist do?
A Forensic Scientist typically uses evidence from a crime scene and dissect information from it to build a crime scene from every angle and help figure out who committed the crime. What does a Forensic Scientist do?

4 What does a toxicologist do?
A Toxicologist tries to find all of the drugs and harmful residue that is in a body. They also can test out harmful drugs for pharmaceutical companies in order to make sure that they do not have harmful side affects. What does a toxicologist do?

5 How to become a toxicologist/Requriments
To become a toxicologist you will need at least a bachelor degree in natural sciences such as biology and/or chemistry. Having a graduate degree in toxicology also helps to acquire some of the more prestigious jobs. It also helps to have classes in Math and human medicine. How to become a toxicologist/Requriments

Typically the evidence that you will work with will be bodies as you will perform a number of tests on them in order to see what harmful products were used on the body. What evidence do you work with?

9 Case solved with help from toxicology
On July 26, 2009 a minivan collided with a Chevrolet trailblazer on Taconic state parkway killing 8 people. The driver of the minivan was Diane Schuler who was with her children and nieces. At first sympathy was given to the horrific crash but, when the toxicology report came back the view changed heavily. It turns out that she had been both drunk and high. She had a .19 percent alcohol level and THC (which is commonly found in marijuana) in her system. Case solved with help from toxicology
