2 MyLearningPlan Lets login and get your PD documents. Login into your portal. Click on Apps / Services / Sites Click on MyLearningPlan On your main page, click the MANAGE button next to this course

3 MyLearningPlan Once on the main page for this PD, scroll down until you see the TEAM ROOM button. Click on the TEAM ROOM Button. Team Room

4 MyLearningPlan Towards the bottom of the TEAM ROOM page there will be a box called “Shared Files” These are all the documents for today’s PD. Team Room – Shared Files *Please note this screenshot is from another PD*

5 My Learning Plan Evaluation Process (Overview) 1.Smart Goal and rating the PD session. 2.Application - a plan for how you will apply what you learned in the PD. 3.Impact – A description of how the PD has impacted your instructional delivery. The MLP evaluation process has three parts that must be completed to receive credit for the Professional Development.

6 Completing Activity Evaluation Part 1 You must log into your M-DCPS employee portal before accessing MyLearningPlan. 1.On the LearningPlan Tab, on the dashboard, look under Approved and/or in Progress. Find the activity that you would like to complete an evaluation for and click Manage. 2.On the Activity Details page, click the Professional Development Evaluation button. 3.Complete evaluation. 4.Click Save to submit. Please note:  The purpose of the SMART Goal required as Part 1 of the evaluation is to measure the outcomes as it relates to the professional development activity you attended.  Credit will not be awarded unless parts 1, 2 and 3 of the evaluation have been completed.

9 You will see a window with your information and information from the PD. The first box does NOT need to be filled in. Lower down you will see a box where you create your SMART goal. This will be followed by several drop down menus that allow you to rate the PD. Click SAVE at the bottom of this screen to submit Part 1.

10 Creating a Smart Goal Smart goals provide a tool for setting classroom and school-wide goals aligned with district initiatives, to promote continuous improvement. Strategic and specific Measurable Attainable Results-oriented Time-bound EXAMPLE: By March 3rd, 2015 ## % of the students in my class will show mastery of the targeted science benchmark (SC.#.N.#.#) from Topic # in the pacing guide as evidenced by a formative assessment.

11 Completing Activity Evaluation Part 2 – All Users You must log into your M-DCPS employee portal before accessing MyLearningPlan. 1.On the LearningPlan Tab, on the dashboard, look under Approved and/or in Progress. Find the activity that you would like to complete an evaluation for and click Manage. 2.On the Activity Details page, click the Team Room button. 3.On the Team Room page, click on 1.Part 2 – Application (should be completed 7 days after activity ends) 2.Part 3 – Impact (should be completed 14 days after activity ends) 4.Evaluation can be submitted or saved as draft to submit at a later time. 5. You can now close the Team Room window and return to the LearningPlan Tab. Please note: Credit will not be awarded unless parts 1, 2 and 3 of the evaluation have been completed.

12 Completing Activity Evaluation Parts 2 and 3 Click on the Team Room button. This will give you access to you Part 2 (Application) and Part 3 (Impact) of the evaluation. Please note yours will say Instructional Evaluation – Application/Impa ct (NOT Leadership).

13 Completing Activity Evaluation Parts 2 and 3 You have 7 days from the end of the PD to complete Part 2. You have 14 days from the end of the PD to complete Part 3.

14 Uploading Files to MLP Some PD’s will require you to upload files as part of your follow assignment. In order to upload files you must first save them to your “My File Library” Completing Activity Evaluation Parts 2 and 3

15 Uploading Files to MLP On the next screen, Under My Files, click Add Files Completing Activity Evaluation Parts 2 and 3

16 Uploading Files to MLP On the next screen, click on the Choose File button and select for the file you want to upload from your computer. Click Upload once you have chosen the file. Completing Activity Evaluation Parts 2 and 3

18 Uploading Files to MLP At the bottom of Part 3, you will see the list of your files, click the checkbox next to the file(s) you would like to include with your evaluation. Completing Activity Evaluation Parts 2 and 3
