Types of Sentences Declarative -makes a statement of fact, fib, or opinion -ends with a period My birthday is December 16. We will celebrate with chocolate cake. Exclamatory -expresses a strong feeling/emotion -ends with an exclamation mark Happy birthday! I’m so embarrassed!
