3 DELIVERABLES for WP4 REMIND: 2 Deliverables One paper assembling the individual data collection for the CGE model (P2 or P4) One paper assembling the individual data collection for the NEG model(s) (P1) Both should present the procedures followed in each study area in order to collect the data.

4 REMIND: We are already 15 days late with the Final Deliverables for WP4. Proposal: Deadline for the “individual papers” (one paper for all data collected): October 31 Deadline for the two Final Deliverables: November 15th

5 Deliverables for WP5 Leader: P2 Partipants (offcially: all) 1.From October 1 st 2006 till August 30 th 2007 (11 month) WP5: “Model calibration, analysis and results” will have place → 4 Deliverables -1 research paper on application and results of individual CGE analysis -1 comparative research paper -1 research paper of application and results of NEG/sectoral shifts analysis -1 comparative research paper

8 WHO IS DOING WHAT (and when)? If Aberdeen (and Patras) are carrying out the quantitative aspects of the CGE models, and Bologna those of the NEG models, they should also write their respective output. → 2 papers each team within end of August (which is the new planned date for the Conference in Riga) This deadline could also enlarged a bit (for the FINAL versions of the papers to October 2007, when the Conference wold take place. This option was preferred (in Joensuu) to the option “1 paper each team, and the two comparative analysis papers written by another partner ”

9 In the meantime (2007).. TERA Objective 2 “Assessing the extent to which the policies take into account the territorial factors. …… We shall compare the weight of these factors, as measured by our empirical results, with the effective relevance they have (if any) in the actual policies” P5 (Riga), who is not involved in WP5 and who was not involved in both WP2 and WP3 should work in advance on WP6, which would start officially in September 2007.

10 WP6 Relevance of structural development policies Leader: Riga Participants: all Identification and analysis of existing structural development policies Evaluation of their importance on the formation and the development of enterprises in the study-areas… (in the first part of 2007) Together with an overall evaluation of the importance of the territorial factors on the study areas (results available in the fall 2007)

13 timing P5 should receive as inputs for WP6 a paper from each partner about all the policies related to the specific areas (translation in English of all local documents) within 2007. The Riga meeting (September 2007?) could be a first assessment of these new topics

14 TERA objective 3 WP7 Leader: Helsinki Participants: all Specifying new policy interventions which can promote the development of European remote rural areas. The design of these policies would embody those elements of the previous “territorial” analysis most useful for achieving the final goal.

18 Financial aspects → Beatrice As you already know our financial officer in Brussels asked us for greater outlays up to the 70% of the first financing, ex art. 180. After a recognition on all of you, today we know that we are able to reach the due amount with the expenses relative to July and August. Therefore, we can proceed.

19 It is necessary that you compile a new Form C relative to these only two months (July 1 - August 31) and invoice it to us in electronic format. In order to simplify this operation we attach the "FormCJuly_August_2006" file where you should just fill your own folder. Please, do not do anything else except filling your page. Only once you receive our approval on the electronic format, please send us the paper version with the due signatures in original (two copies).
