Public Law 112-10 Sec. 1340. (a) None of the funds made available by this division may be used for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration or the Office of Science and Technology Policy to develop, design, plan, promulgate, implement, or execute a bilateral policy, program, order, or contract of any kind to participate, collaborate, or coordinate bilaterally in any way with China or any Chinese-owned company unless such activities are specifically authorized by a law enacted after the date of enactment of this division.

Brief History Founded in May 2011 Commissioned by the President of CU to support a high-quality, safe environment for children that participate in programs affiliated with our University

Pre-Collegiate Programs Office (PcPO) 3- Fold Mission 1.Minimize risk and liability associated with youth programs; 2.To enhance the quality of the overall program experience in ways that increase participant satisfaction and portrays Clemson University in the most positive light in the minds of prospective students and parents; 3.To increase the size and scope of Clemson programs thus increasing department and college revenues.

Program Advancement Consultation/Facilitation – Registration – Staffing – Promotion

Custodial Care & Approval PcPO policies and procedures apply to all Clemson University programs designed for individuals under 18 years of age, whether operated on or off campus, where the program participants are to be left in the care and supervision of Clemson University employees or volunteers. PcPO policies and procedures apply year-round and are not limited to programs that are operating during the summer months. Each program must seek approval from the PcPO.
