Project manager Project managers are people who businesses employ to watch over projects that the business undertake to ensure a selection of things. They look out for things like client requirements being met, jobs being completed correctly, efficiently and most importantly on time. Personal requirements to be a project manager: -The ability to work as a team as you will be responsible for groups of workers not just yourself -Patience as you will be the one everyone looks to for guidance and help -Good communication skills as you are the one that is making things work -Organisational skills so things aren't getting mixed up thus leading to the job being done incorrectly -Motivational skills to keep everyone enjoying themselves and more importantly working to the best of there ability.

Computer programmer The role of a computer programmer is to programme computers to work in the way they are supposed to. You will be responsible for making computers do the amazing things they can for example access the internet and produce coding for the most advanced technology known to man. Personal attributes for a computer programmer: -The ability to multi-task. Computer programmers will have to be doing more than one thing at a time therefore being able to keep on top of more than one thing taking place at once is going to be vital for things to run efficiently -Once again being patient is going to be important as a computer programmer. Computer programming is all about the trial and error process. Things aren't always going to work out perfectly first time therefore having the ability to accept that things don’t work is important as otherwise you will simply get wound up to easily and start making silly stress related mistakes which could lead onto bigger problems in the future -Academic ability. As computer programming is quite confusing being academic is going to help significantly as it means that you are more able to decipher the long coding and the complicated parts of the job.

Website designer Website designers are hired by businesses to build or improve there website which is going to be used by there customers. Website designers will be responsible for all the things involved with the website for example the house styles, layout of the website and the coding. Personal attributes require to be a website designer: -Creativity and imagination are both vital for the job of a website designer. This is because your website is what your using to try and sell your business as well as your product to the customers. Therefore if it is dull and boring or if it is too hard to use then customers will be put off your website and will look to competitors for a better service - once again having academic qualities is going to be important especially things like literacy qualities. The reason I say this is because if the website you are making consists of lots of information, you need to make sure it is easily understandable and not simply a load of useless information to the everyday user, therefore being good with words and language yourself will mean that chances are you will be easy to understand by other users -And finally being organised will also give you the edge as being organised means that you not only will produce a more efficient, tidy and more organised website yourself, but it will also mean that you will know when to update the website whether new fashions or trends require you to update it regularly or not.

Website administrator A website administrator is the person that works with the website designer to maintain and continue to make additions to the businesses website. These sort of additions can include updates, changes to the website the administrator thinks are necessary and most importantly looking after the website once the designer has finished the part of it. Personal attributes required to be a website administrator: -Very similarly to the web designer the web administrator must have particularly good organisational skills as they must keep the website up to scratch with all the latest changes in the world and then alter there websites to fit these changes accordingly -Website administrators don’t need to be as creative and imaginative as the designer themselves because the designer is obviously the one who makes the website but they must have a certain degree of creativity as they are going to need to be able to make changes to the website if necessary and also if the designer isn't on hand to make the changes.

Database administrator A database administrator is responsible for the security and well being of a database as well as ensuring the database holds information that is almost perfectly accurate. Personal attributes to be a database administrator: -Good communication skills as a database administrator will be working in close relation to it technicians ad database developers so they will have to work well together. Furthermore they will be working with other people in order to gain the data for there databases. -Database administrators will also be using large amounts of data and ensuring that it is correct when passing it onto someone else therefore literacy and numeracy skills will be require so simple things like spelling mistakes which are likely to cause issues in future are written out of the equation.

Network administrator Network administrators are responsible for setting up and maintaining network for people to work on, this job can entail using devices like Wi-Fi hotspots to allow people to work outside of the office or connecting two different devices together so people can communicate between on another. Personal attributes to be a network administrator: -The ability to work with minimal resources, this is because sometimes resources and technology wont be available so they will have to make do with what they have available. -Communication skills as they will be working in tandem with clients and colleagues also any problem with the networks will come back to them therefore they will need to work efficiently and work well with other to resolve these uprising issues.

Network technician Network technicians are responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and installing local network systems, they will work hand in hand with clients who report issues they are having as well as working closely with network administrators to ensure what they have put together is working in the long run. Personal attributes required to be a network technician: -Network technicians must have good analytical skills as they will be doing things like working out why networks aren't working how they are meant to, they will also have to be able to notice the smallest things that may be the cause of the network not working therefore the ability to analyse the situation is going to be very helpful. -They also need project management skills to ensure that new installations or network upgrades do not disrupt normal work.

Network manager Network managers are employed to do two main things within a business. First of all they are employed to setup a network within a business that all other employees within the business can rely on to work and be safe and secondly they are employed to train other staff to maintain and set up similar networks. Personal skills required to be a network manager: -As I mentioned earlier network manager are employed to train other workers to do similar things so they are being relied on by everyone to do everything, therefore good management and good communication skills are going to be required to be a good network manager. -Network managers must also have the ability to solve problems, this is because working with networks is always going to crop up problems, therefore being able to work through these problems is going to be vital to the success of the businesses networks.
