2  Using you class binder  Will become your own quick reference manual.  Take notes on EVERYTHING you can..  There will be a test at the end of the project on the material covered in this lecture.  You never know when you are going to need to use them.  Ask questions & give input or ideas  It will count towards a better class participation grade.

3 Students will be able to discuss and demonstrate the Design Process and how it can be used for all types of projects.

4 Students will design a personal logo that they will use for the remainder of the semester on all of their projects. The logo must be at least two colors The logo must represent the student in some way. The logo must be scalable; it can be used and understood very small as well as very large. The logo must be able to be printed on/ duplicated onto a variety of surfaces. You will have to put this logo somewhere on each of the projects that you work on.

13 Find three (2) unique* logos that you like and present them to the class. Type up a quick description of the logo, discuss its design idea and talk about what you like or do not like about it. Save your PowerPoint to your P: DRIVE *Unique refers to the class and the presentation. You cannot use a logo that has been presented in class or used by another student. It is advised that students get more than three logos to prevent conflicts with classmates.

14 The New Jersey Devils logo. They team was named the Devils after the myth of the Jersey Devil that lives in the Pine Barrens of South Jersey. The logo is designed to look like and intertwined N & J somewhat similar to the New York Yankees logo. Popular traits of the myth of a devils such as horns and a tail are used on the top and bottom to emphasize the devil theme. Originally, the logo was red, white, and green. In the 1990s the green was replaced with black. This is an example of how one of logos should be written up: YOU CANNOT USE THIS LOGO
