5 Zero Tolerance Policy No player, parent, coach or fan may argue with an umpire/referee/official. Coaches are reminded that they may ask for clarification on rules but under no circumstances are they to yell, call out, or question officials during the game. Sarcasm or angry tones are not acceptable. COACHES are responsible to remind spectators & players not to challenge or criticize the officials. Consequences of arguing with an official: Ejection from all DAA games the day of the ejection plus one additional game. Any person ejected from a game more than once in a season (i.e. fall or spring) will be suspended from DAA games for the remainder of the season. Failure to leave the complex (fields, gyms, parking areas) will result in forfeiture of game by the team associated with the ejected party. There will be no profanity, abusive language, or obscene gestures towards any official, coach, player, or fan. Consequences: Cause for suspension from all games for the remainder of the season Any type of violence will result in immediate expulsion from the league. Consequences: Expulsion for the current year & subject to review for any other subsequent year.

9 Player Rotations DAA Softball 10U and 12U Line Up Card Inning Position Designations Player Name123456Extra Inning Infield Positions C = catcher P = Pitcher 1 = First Base 2 = Second Base SS = Short Stop 3 = Third Base Outfield Positions LF = Left field CF = Center Field RF = Right field SF = Short Field Instructions: 1. Coach fills in the players position for each inning of the game. 2. The Line up card should be given to the apposing coach prior to the start of the game, but no later than the end of the 1st inning. This will allow for late arrivals to be added to the line up card during the first inning. 3. If the Line up Card is given to the apposing coach at the end of the 1st inning, the positions the players were in should be accurate. 4. Once the Line up Cards have been exchanged, it is the apposing coaches responsibility to review the card for compliance with the player rotation rules and monitor the other teams compliance with their line up. 5. Once the Line up Card has been given to the apposing coach, any line up change must be communicated to the apposing coach prior to the change. 6. It is the apposing coaches responsibility to review any changes made during the game for complaince with the player rotation rules. 7. Deviation between the Line up Card and the players positions on the field must be identified by the apposing coach at the time it occurs. No action should be taken if the deviation is noticed after the end of the half inning where the player is in the field. 8. When deviations are properly indentified, the coaches should meet at home plate with the umpire, review the discrepancy and make the necessary corrections to comply with the rotational rules. 9. Line up Cards should be maintained and delivered to the League Director at the end of the season. It is recommended that the coach utilize a parent to monitor the Line up Card to review the players in the field at the start of each inning and point out any issues to the coach prior to the start of the half inning.
