9.  Cheerleading tryouts for basketball season will be open for J.V. & Varsity teams.  Tryouts will start on Oct.3 rd – 31 st.  Final selection day will be on Oct.31 st.  For more info please see Ms. Houston or Ms. Wynn in the Freshmen Academy rooms 804 + 805.

11. Do you have overdue library items? You need to bring them back so that others may enjoy them. OVERDUE LIBRARY BOOKS? NO fines if you bring the items back.

12. Naiya Smith is a high school sophomore at West Meck High. She enjoys cheering for her school, hanging with friends and family, and most of all writing. Teenage years can be hard and confusing. With a mother that is sick and boyfriends that only cause problems. Sixteen- year- old Niona is living proof of it. Decisions come with life and it influences everyone and everything around you. See how Niona handles her decisions with the life she's given.

13. The regular meeting dates have been set for the 1 st and 3 rd Wednesdays of every month. We will have a MAKE UP MEETING WEDNESDAY for the missed meeting last week. Please be prepared to elect officers and discuss future plans for charities and fundraisers.
