21 Traffic Issues Traffic Issues Traffic signal is being installed by Orange County at the corner of Woodbury Road and Waterford Lakes Blvd. It will be operable prior to the end of the calendar year. The project will not be completed until the end of 2008 at the earliest. Woodbury Road meets the County level of service standards with the project. There was confusion as a result of outdated information included in the staff report and the Developer’s Traffic Analysis regarding the capacity of Woodbury at a previous BCC meeting. This information has since been updated and corrected. Project results in a deficiency on roadways being impacted. Applicant has agreed to pay its Proportionate Share which totals $377,019, in accordance with Orange County regulations.

22 Traffic Issues Traffic Issues  Project has received Capacity Encumbrance Letter confirming available capacity for Woodbury Road.  Project will apply for a Concurrency Reservation Certificate resulting in $543,305 to be paid to Orange County.  Project’s Proportionate Share Agreement has been submitted to the Concurrency Review Committee for August 23, 2007, for which the Developer will pay an additional $377,019 to Orange County.

23 Alta respectfully requests that the Board of County Commissioners Approve the Project Rezoning Request and the Conservation Area Impact Permit in accordance with staff recommendations.
