3. Branding project Context and Reality Why are we working on branding? The district currently has numerous logos and images that do not offer a clear brand for the district The district is currently identified by at least five different names The current district logo does not align with our desired reputation outlined in the strategic plan

Branding project Desired Results What are we trying to accomplish? -Develop a single image, or logo, that is identifiable throughout the community and can be used by the district, schools, programs and activities -Develop a brand identity that emphasizes the desired reputation outlined in the district’s strategic plan, consistent with our Make Your MARK initiative -Revise policy #101 to identify one name for the district

5. Branding project Constraints What will not be changing? -We will not change the names of any district schools -We will not have multiple logos/images and names to identify the district

Branding project Key Achievement Points/Milestones Develop new logo and tagline to clearly define our brand Complete branding use and implementation guidelines to be used by staff and aligned organizations throughout the district Review and revise policy 101, name of the district, as appropriate, prior to August 1 Go "live" with refined district and school websites by August 1, with consistent district name, image, and logo
