31 3131 Conclusions ● GEM Technology suitable for applications with: ● High rate ● High spatial resolution ● Large area ● Micromegas with resistive coating is becoming an attractive option ● Sparks suppression ● 2-dimensional readout ● Relatively simple technology ● Quite a few project working on large area GEM/  M ● Our activity on the SBS front Tracker@JLab12/Hall A is going to be finalized for production ● Optimal readout chip does not exist; several developments in progress
