5.  A Story has  1. beginning, 2. middle, 3. end  In the beginning  Introduce the characters (ideas)  Tell what the problem is  Tell what is known so far  Background papers  Explain why we care – why is it important  Tell what isn’t known!

6. TELL A STORY!  The Middle  Methods and Results  Why the methods solve the problem  Connect each Result  with an idea from the beginning  with other Results  Tell the story of the Results  in a logical order  logically impels the narrative

7. TELL A STORY!  The End  List the Original Ideas  Are they still valid?  Explain Ideas/Results  in relation to the problem  in relation to other student’s notion of the problem or solution  Drive Discussion  Discuss the Next Step  Is there a new problem?
