Questions:Notes: How do I construct a box and whisker plot? Step 1 – Determine the Median, Upper Quartile, Lower Quartile and outliers of the data set. Step 2 – Draw a number line that includes the largest and smallest numbers in the data set. Step 3 – Graph the minimum and maximum values that are not outliers. Step 4 – Graph the upper and lower quartiles, the median and any outliers. Step 5 – Draw in the box and whiskers (do not include the outliers in the whiskers) Example: 29, 32, 36, 37, 37, 38, 43, 51
