2. TEAM  With your partner, come up with as many words as you can out of the word TEAM.

3. MET  Have you met all of the people in your team? What are their names? What are their interests? What are their goals? ○ Do they match the team goals? What skills do they bring?  Getting to know your team members makes doing the work much easier and eliminates a lot of discrimination

4. MATE  Partner  Friend  Helper  Encourager  Supporter  Person who wants the best for you and the others on the team

5. MEAT  Think of this as what you bring to the table Attitude Skills Ideas Creativity Open mind  What do you have to offer?  How will it positively affect the workings of the team?

6. AT  Where are you “at” in the process?  Where are you “at” in achieving the goal set out for the team?  Where are you “at” in supporting the rest of your team?

7. MAT  Are you the door mat of your team?  Do you allow others to “slack off” and be lazy?  Do you pick up the slack by doing other team members work?  Do you hold all team members accountable for their portion of the success or failure of the team? DON’T BE A DOOR MAT and DON’T TREAT A SOMEONE ELSE LIKE A DOOR MAT

8. TEA  What do you do for “down” time?  How do you relax and recharge?  How much time do you spend doing things you love and NOT working?  How does your team relax?  How often do you take breaks and time out for “small talk?”

9. ATE/EAT  What do you do to feed your soul?  What do you do to feed the souls of your team mates?  What do you do to fuel the energy within the team?

10. MA  Think of your “Ma” Ma is nonjudgmental Ma is caring Ma is compassionate Ma thinks about others before herself Ma is empathetic ○ She understands ○ She’s there for you

11. AM  Am I doing my part?  Am I fulfilling my responsibilities?  Am I giving my best 100%?  Am I listening?  Am I understanding?

12. TAME  Is your attitude in check  Have you left your “baggage” at the door  Have you removed yourself from the drama

13. ME  Not “I”  Me is self-reflective: What portion of the work was done by me? IT IS NOT BOASTFUL OR PROUD “I did …”  Me, My, Mine Me takes ownership and responsibility: ○ What is my contribution to the team? ○ This section is mine

14. ATM  Am I depositing into the relationship bank accounts I have with each one of my teammates? OR  Am I withdrawing? Not listening Keeping my ideas to myself Acting condescending Thinking everything should be my way
