Shaking ketchup out of a bottle… Riding on a skateboard and hitting a curb… You get the ketchup and bottle moving, then your hand applies a force that stops the bottle but no force pulls back on the ketchup so it keeps going. You and the skateboard are moving, the curb applies a force to stop the skateboard but none on you so you keep going forward.
