Model the following exchange with a few sts:
T: Hello.
St: Hello.

14. Slide 4 Seating Mixer
Arrange seats in a semi-circle.
Explain to sts that, when you say “Freeze!”, they are to sit in the alphabetical order of their first names.
Show them which end of the semi-circle starts with “A” and which ends with “Z”.
Tell sts to stand up, mingle and greet each other using the expressions in slide 3.

Give them three minutes to complete the task.
Set a timer and say “Freeze!” at the end of the time limit.
At the end, check if sts are seated in alphabetical order while testing sts’ memories by asking them their classmates’ names.

Ask Do you know any words in English related to airport or technology? Encourage sts to remember words and expressions they have seen at the airport, on computers or on mobiles.
Accept all reasonable contributions and help with pronunciation.
