3 + UWF Strategic Priorities High Quality Academic Programs “An expanded Outdoor Adventures Center would greatly benefit the many HLES courses that use Outdoor Adventures components in course assignments” ~ Dr. Steven Philipp, HLES Purposeful Enrollment Growth Yellow Bike and Outdoor Adventures are topics included on campus tours. “Parking and Transportation Services supports programs such as the community bicycle shop, which increase the transportation options available to students on campus” ~ Chip Chism, Parking Services Director Academic & Student Support Services “Being able to offer a lounge on campus would help Student Transition Programs to further reach out to commuters and help them feel connected and a part of the UWF community” ~ Kaitlin Oyler, Student Transition Programs Coordinator Partnership & Collaboration “Expanding community bicycle and Outdoor Adventures programming, particularly at this location close to student housing, will recognize the growing student desire for UWF to be environmentally friendly and further improve the sustainability of the university” ~ Daniel Osborn, Student Environmental Action Society, SGA Sustainability Coordinator Investment in People The commuter programs will be open to Faculty and Staff.

5 + Student Impact Will serve all students plus faculty and staff who commute to or around campus. Will provide a place for commuters to connect with each other and information important to them. Will expand Outdoor Adventures student programs in Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and Administrative Services. American University

6 + Best Fit and Use of Space Will utilize all space without major renovation. Request keeping office furniture, cabinets, shelves, etc. Able to expand programming without major renovation. Outdoor Center & Commuter Lounge Community Bike Shop Offices Meeting Foyer

7 + Budget Adequacy/Ability to Implement Can open using current budget. Already building partnerships across divisions to expand.
