I will redistribute these to another person in class.  Independently read their paper.  Answer the questions on the Peer Review handout.  When you both are finished, meet to discuss your papers.  Do not throw this away. You will turn this in with your essay plan.  You will get a grade on your review..

The subject is Voices and Values p. 300.  Read From Nonreading to Reading, by Stacy Kelly Abbott.  After reading each of the 12 paragraphs, 1.Find the thesis and write it down. 2.For each of the body paragraphs, write a short summary, explaining what the paragraph is about. This assignment will not be graded if you copy sentences from the paragraph. You must summarize in your own words. 3.After reading the concluding paragraph, explain how the author connected to the thesis.  Answer the Vocabulary Check and Reading Check questions.
