3 Business Rule Validations Residency Status Code If StateProvinceCode is Michigan and the submitting entity is a university, then ResidencyStatusCode must be InState or NotReported If StateProvinceCode is Michigan and the submitting entity is a community college, then ResidencyStatusCode must be InDistrict, OutofDistrict or NotReported If StateProvinceCode is not Michigan, then ResidencyStatusCode must be OutOfState or International Date of Birth 100 to 110, 15 to 14 Entry Date Entry Date greater than Session Designator Entry Date changed from a previous STARR collection 3

10 How many postsecondary students are prior-year high school graduates, degree seeking, or 24 years and under? 74.7% were age 24 and under 80.75% degree seeking 13.55% prior year MI high school graduates

11 How many students are transferring from and to 4-year Michigan public colleges? 37.8% of Oakland Community College transfer students went to a 2- year MI public IHE 47.8% of GVSU’s transfers came from a 2-year MI public IHE

12 How many students are transferring from and to 4-year Michigan public colleges? 68.1% of white students transferred to an instate 4- year public university 51.8% of female students transferred to an instate 4- year public university 75.6% of students had a GPA of greater than or equal to 2.0

13 A secure data file that includes: Student level data for each school, each session Coursework, cumulative credit, GPA Programs enrolled in Awards earned No longer need to request performance data from IHEs Reports similar to NSC coming soon to requests from K-12 stakeholders Condensed Basic Student Data File
