8  All classes meet together to work on the foundations  Organisation, Getting Along, Confidence, Resilience and Persistence  Some homework tasks will be linked to to this

9  20 minutes reading per night recorded in homework book (Parents listen if possible).  Mathletics –1 hour per week  Spelling – 10 spelling words and a spelling task to be completed.  Inquiry – students informed of tasks as required  Unfinished work  Given out on Monday, due back on Friday  Parents to discuss homework with their child and sign

12  Year 5 Assembly will be held in Week 1. They will be Wednesday at 3.00pm  Important information is share with all students  Students are given the opportunity to share their learning  Parents are welcome to attend

15  Transition activities will be held in Term 4  The aim is to give students an sample of what to expect in Year 6  Year 5 students will also be attending a Science activities at Mornington Secondary College  Year 6 Leadership Groups

16  Allergies/ Anaphylaxis Please bring nut free lunches to assist us to keep our students safe.  Uniform No Anklets/headbands/nail polish/fluoro shoelaces etc  Cyber-safety Please ensure students are using Multimedia devices responsibly. Have a space where devices are placed when child goes to sleep

17  Talk positively about school and learning  Try to support your child with their learning at home  Please communicate any concerns with your child’s class teacher School HomeStudent
