Goals for Data Analysis Session: –To help teachers understand the data from Frog Street Press Assessment as a whole campus. –To help teachers understand their individual data from their classrooms and how it will drive instruction this school year. –To share information about how Teacher can support learning using the Data. 10 Look at your data for your class from last school year. –Highlight any scores 79 and bellow.(Weaknesses) –Circle and scores between 80-84. (Average) –On the sheet provided, fill in the areas for your classroom. –After you have filled in your information discuss with table mates what your findings are. FSP Data Individual Class Analysis

11 Your data should be the driving force behind your instruction along with the Curriculum. After reviewing your data do you see what you need to focus on? Do you feel that your Professional Development that you focus on this year should incorporate your weakness or your areas needing improvement? What PK Guidelines connect with the areas you need to grown in? I looked at my Data…Now what?

12 Now that we have looked over the data, had time to reflect, and discuss, we can not effectively see what it is we need to focus on as a school and as an individual teacher for professional development. Data is not meant to be punitive. It is meant to be used as a reflective tool in order to improve out instructional practices. As professionals it is our job to effective teachers and seek appropriate professional development when needed, in order to be an effective teacher. Conclusion
