3 Habitat 1: On what continent of the earth did your culture originate? Asia. 2: Where on that continent was your culture located? South 3: What was the average summer temperature in that location at that time? The weather was sunny, with few clouds. Temperature was about 79 degrees Fahrenheit.

4 Habitat [Continued] 4: What was the average winter temperature? The average winter temperature was no colder than 45 degrees Fahrenheit. 5: What was the average annual rainfall in that location? The annual rainfall was usually 11 inches per year. 6: What was the landscape like? What were its common features? It was mainly all hills and some flat land. 7: What animal and plant life existed in this habitat? All animals existed. A few others were pets though: Elephant was a pet, and a Penguin was a pet.

We got victory, When those wars were fought, Lighting off those bombs we did With very careful thought. We help community as best we can Love and joy explains us. Purple, White and Green we say, MASCARA! Represents our country day by day. Tabasco is our National, That’s where our president stays. Seeing our flag wave in the air, Greatly pleases his day. Oh say! Can you see, By the night and the day. Oh proudly we stand For the progress that’s been made. Still more life to come We’ll see you in the future. 7 Mascara’s Constitution 1: The right to speak out. Say what you feel and your opinion. 2: The right to volunteer without knowing your reputation and can still contribute with charity, Ect. 3: The right to choose whether you go to school after the age of 15. 4: The right to start or stop a business. 5: The right to live wherever you want, and move whenever you please. 6: The right to go to court and say the truth and honestly tell your opinion. 7: The right to legally move from country to country. 8: The right to say or make support in your own religion. 9: The rights to go to school, get a job, or start a business without being turned down because of race, color, or previous condition of servitude. Anyone racist will be arrested. 10: The right to vote if over the age of 16, male, or female.

10 ClothingClothing The clothes were basically all the same as they are in the U.S. It was all casual, and there was a huge variety. All sorts of categories such as: Dress up, swimwear, sleepwear, police uniforms, ETC.

11 Living Quarters 1: What materials do people use to build their living quarters and other structures? Bricks, Wood, Cement, ECT, are the materials used in making buildings. 2: How are these Buildings made, and who makes them? Construction Workers make these buildings. [Handmade] 3: To what building should people in this culture go for health care? A 1-3 story hospital/urgent care are where people would go in case of injury, sickness, or drowsiness. 4: Where would people who had broken a law be sent? People would go to a jail or prison where they are guarded at all times by soldiers, and police. 5: Where would people go to be educated? They would go to a school. Different schools are based on their age, and/or level of I.Q. 6: Where would the people in your culture go to buy or trade goods? To buy goods, people would go to a gas station nearby, a grocery store, or a restaurant. 7: Where would people gather for religious ceremonies? People would go to temples or churches of their own religion. 8: What are the sizes, shapes, and styles of the houses where families live? Everyone has a decent sized home. Depending on how many people are in the family is the size of a house you get. Money is not always an issue, depending on the lifestyle you live. The only way people go to a shelter is if they are abandoned, runaways, or they just don’t care about where they are going in the mere future. 9: What are the rooms like where people gather? Where are these rooms located? The rooms that people gather in are the living room, and dining area. They gather every time they eat a meal, or anytime they want to have family time. 10: Where do people sleep? Each person sleeps in their bed, at their house. 11: Where do people eat, and cook their meals? People cook their meals in a basic kitchen, with a stove, microwave, BBQ, and oven. 12: Are the houses communal, or single-family dwellings? The houses are either-or: Single-Family, and Communal. Depends on what lifestyle you want or have.

12 1. what are 3 special that the people in your culture eat regularly? Bread, fruit, and meat. 2. Who is in charge of getting the ingredients, and how do they get them? The government gets it from the farmers. 3. What tools or weapons are used in this process? Axes, rakes, knives, ETC. 4. Hoe many meals a day, and at what times? 4 meals. 8:00am, 11:00am, 2:00pm, 6:00pm. 5. Who prepares each meal, and where is this done? The main head of the house, and prepares the mal in the kitchen. 6. Who gathers to eat the meals? The whole family, and anyone else that is in the house at that time. 7. Are there any special activities, manners, or rituals that are part of the meals? Each person is respectful. No elbows on table, no burping, or making weird noises ETC. 8. An foods such as treats or rewards? Yes, candy, cake, cookies, brownies. All sweet food that meet to satisfactory, mainly homemade. 9. Do any people in your culture sell food to make money? Who? And What do they sell? Farmers and butchers. The farmers sell veggies and grains, and the butchers sell meat. 10. Does your culture engage in trade with other cultures for food that is not found locally? Yes

13 First Dance The “Wango” Ladies wear special dresses and guys wear suits and ties. They are celebrated at proms and school dances. This dance is a mixture between the Waltz and the Tango. Second Dance “Wedding Bells” Casual clothing, celebrating weddings. You do all the things that you would do in a marriage. Like holding a baby, and the shopping cart.

14 1: What form of Government does your culture have? Our government has democracy. 2: How are leaders selected? Leaders are selected by voting for whoever they want to rule the country. Whoever wins, is our president. 3: What are the titles for those who are in power? They are called masters, or presidents. 4: What are the responsibilities of those in power? To protect the Mascara community is the president’s responsibilities. 5: What ceremonies are held when a new leader is selected? There is a country-wide dance for whoever in the country would like to come. 6: Is there a written record of laws in your culture? Yes. -What is it called? Mascara’s Constitution. -Does your culture have a constitution apply to everyone, including those in power? Yes. -Does your culture have a constitution to describe how the government functions? Yes. -Does the constitution apply to everyone, including those is power? Yes. 7: How are arguments or legal disputes settled? Court. 8: What major laws have been made, and why? No speeding, because of safety, no guns without a license, because of safety, and no drugs (unless prescribed) or alcohol if under influence… because of safety. 9: What punishments exist for rule breakers? Prison, Jail, Executing.

15 $Economy and Currency$ 1.What items are considered valuable and why? Gold, expensive jewelry, antiques. And they are valuable because of their age and style. 2. Who has access to these things of value? Anyone who owns them, makes them, or has the money to buy them. 3. What types of “cash” are used? Cash comes in 1, 5, 15, 20, 35, 50, 100, 75, 1000 dollar bills, and coins come in 1, 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, and 60 cent pieces. 4. How does trade within this culture happen? People trade money for what they would like to but, and the money goes to the seller, and the maker. 5. How do people display their wealth? People who are seen wealthy, will be seen wearing name branded clothes, and jewelry. 6. Who is considered “successful”, and why? People who have friends, family, exceed in life, and are loved for who they are considered successful. Not by how much money they have.

16 1.Where did people usually walk, and for what purposes? Sidewalks, and for working out for going somewhere nearby. 2. Which were ridden/used to carry goods, or pull conveyances? Cars and Trucks 3. How are they designed and made of what materials? 100% metal. 4. How is the item made and used? Describe the design, materials, ECT? They were used daily to go to desired places, and they had the design of the owners choice.

17 Defense and Protection 1: Which features of the landscape make your culture easy to attack? Not enough hiding places and not a lot of land at all. 2: What defenses does the landscape provide naturally? Mountains and Walls. 3: Which people in your country are trained to defend it? The soldiers that are trained. 4: How are defense strategies taught, and who teaches them? The headmaster teaches them, and they are taught at a camp for all of the strategies. 5: Have any major battles been fought? If so, who was involved and who won? World War I was started by our country, against Sadada, we won victory. They soon enough came back for revenge, and now our country is in the middle of World War II 6: What types of weapons are used in training and fighting? The only time weapons are EVER used is in war. We use cannons, bombs, guns, knives, ECT. 7.What other ways do people in your culture defend themselves? If someone is threatened, they tell the authorities. 8. What kinds of clothing or uniforms do the defenders wear? Nothing special, casually dressed.

18 Garbage What waste products do you produce at home/school/play? Rotted food, paper unused plastic etc. What solid waste is produced by industry or agriculture in order for you to maintain your lifestyle? Oils and Soils. Do different types of industry produce different kinds of garbage? No, we all make the same waste. What types of waste is most prevalent in your area? Wasted water and food. Where do these things go? How can we reduce the amount that finds it’s way to landfill? They go underground to a special spot of waste, recycling will reduce the amount of landfill waste.

19 Our Calendars are the same as the U.S. calendars. The are original, and easy. They can come is different sizes, shapes, and designs. Just like the U.S. calendars.
