1 ICT, Integration, Culture and Tolerance Education and Culture Lifelong Learning Programme GRUNDTVIG 2007-2009

2 Start line: Heterogeneous target groups immigrants, women and men in rural areas and young people at risk of social marginalization Lack of skills and qualifications Trough this project we want to identify best practices both in intercultural work and social integration of the above mentioned target groups. Taking in to account these findings we will implement a working model and an activity plan in order to achieve the aims of the project.

3 To list difficulties, problems and needs in our organizations To detect how the immigrants see the hosting country: the people, the culture, the traditions, the attitude towards them… To detect how the native learners see the immigrants: the people, the culture, the traditions, their attitudes To discuss and analyse the depth of knowledge of the other party Aims

4 To improve the knowledge of the other party and to implement the cultural dialogue trough an active plan To create a common virtual work space and disseminate our work To Implement ICT tools as a way to improve the competences of adults in adapting themselves to a changing society and to the requirements of the labour market.

5 To Improve the accessibility and use of learning opportunities for adults, focusing on cultural aspects i.e. music, linguistics, cultural history. To extend the availability and quality of life long learning in rural areas. To decrease the drop out rates among people with family duties and/or work schedule difficulties giving them the opportunity to participate in a more flexible learning model which is blended learning. To unify teaching methods via the shared virtual space, increasing the efficiency of the learning process.

6 To develop strategies in order to bring cohesion to the group and to implement a suitable teamwork environment. To request all the information, contents, materials, news, events and update the shared web site. To promote the participation of each and every member of the partnership trough the web site forum and the email To coordinate the work of the partners and to watch over the deadline duties To keep a good environment of understanding among the partners in order to improve teamwork Coordinating institution role and tasks

7 To carry out the activities described in the Activity Table To organize the activities at a local level watching out for the participation of learners, teachers and / or the staff members To request the information; to prepare materials (i.e. PowerPoint presentations, reports of activities...) ; to draw up the surveys and to sent these contents to the coordinating institution in order to upload to the web site. To follow up and evaluate the project activities at a local level Institutions roles and tasks (I)

8 To make the evaluation and the final report of their own institutions and to collaborate in the common reports. To actively participate at the forum discussions and to bring to the group, via forum/e-mail, frequent information about the project at a local level. To organize and / or collaborate in the organization of the European project meetings. To disseminate the activities and results of the project trough the media, authorities and institutions at a local / regional level. Institutions roles and tasks (II)
