6.  Document cameras come in a wide variety of styles. The pricing goes up depending on the zoom availabilities and overall qualities of the camera  You can usually get a better deal if you purchase in high quantities and combine them with projectors  I was lucky, we built a new building 2 years ago and every room has a projector built into the ceiling. The only cost we had was the Elmo themselves.  We went with AverVision and they are great cameras. Their cost was $490.00 each

11.  Document cameras are rather expensive because you also have to purchase the projectors. Grants can be written and as I stated earlier buying them in higher volume as a package deal with projectors is the best bet.  Bulbs for projectors are expensive also and when it burns out your Elmo isn’t available either.

12.  Connect directly to your computer  Because you can connect to your computer you can do a lesson using the internet and they can all participate  Students can operate it and show their work they have done. This could be anything from a written journal to a colorful picture they created.  Place the students text books directly under the Elmo for choral reading
