3 Business Experience  Time: 1) 37 to 40 hours a business week (Monday – Friday) 2) Overtime and/or weekend work is common, but circumstantial  Office-setting at: 1) Employer’s establishment 2) Client’s location  May also work from personal home with appropriate setup

4 * Employment Prospect – Average: o Enrollment in the field has drastically increased o More graduates = less employment opportunities o Growth rate likely above average o Retirement rate likely below average o Job seekers > Job openings * Average Profit: o I.S. Analyst - $70,000 o Systems Analyst - $78,000 o I.S. Business Analyst - $82,000 o Systems Security Analyst - $85,000!

5  A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: i.Computer Science ii.Computer Systems Engineering iii.Software Engineering iv.Business Administration v.A discipline related to the ones mentioned above  Conditional: i.Completion of at minimum a college-level computer science program ii.Computer programming experience iii.Certification/Training appointed through a software vendor  Useful Experiences: i.Proposal writing ii.Sustaining finances iii.Project management, presentation, solo and team work
