Grasslands of Africa Does not have a lot of trees. During the rainy season, it has watering holes for animals to drink. What does Africa look like? It looks green or yellow with tall grass. It has a lot of ANIMALS in Africa. It rains sometimes in the grasslands of Africa.

Body Parts of Lions Mane. Only the males have mane to protect them from scratches while fighting. Tail. The tail helps lions maintain their balance and may also indicate their mood. Paws. The paws of a lion are very strong, providing them with sufficient upper body strength to Fight and run.

Lion Facts Lions are carnivores, they eat meat. People view lions as a symbol of power, courage, and nobility They live in groups, called a pride. Here is a pride of lions eating wildebeest.

Lion Facts Lions are the only cats that lives in groups. Lions can see or hear so far away like 50 feet long far away.

Are they endangered Yes they are endangered because people use their fur to make coats.

What can we do? What can we do to help the lions? We can give them lots and lots of stuff they need WE can give them lots and lots of food to eat. We can give them water to the lions We can give them meat to eat and water to drink

How can we help? The Department of Nature Conservation/Agriculture/Health in that country to report the heinous conditions that these animals work and live in. You can also contact Doug Thompson the American Millionaire who has been buying up land in South America to conserve and preserve the nature there. His Organization is called Planet Ark, you can look it up in your search engine. You can also contact the local animal care faculty to do something about it.
