6. It is the movement of God through history to accomplish his 3 fold plan for the earth and universe, the Nation of Israel, and for your Life. It is also the movement of Satan to counter, counterfeit, and confound the 3 fold plan of God

7. DO YOU HAVE AN ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY?

8. I. What is the Strategy he is using?

9. 1 st question 1 st He tries to get her to question God’s Word Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? (Gen 3:1) Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

10. 2 nd changes 2 nd He changes God’s Word Ye shall not surely die (Gen 3:4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Gen 2:17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

11. 3 rd reinterpreted 3 rd He reinterpreted God’s Word (Gen 3:5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

13. II. How does this apply to Us and Church History?

14. (2Co 2:11) Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

16. Men, Movements Institutions So while tracing Church History we must be looking for Men, Movements and Institutions that are doubt, change, reinterpret to bring doubt, to change, and to reinterpret the Word of God

17. III. Tracing the strategy of Satan in the Old Testament

Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet (Deu 13:1-3) If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

21. THERE ARE 7 CHURCHES ADDRESSED IN THE WITTINGS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT BY PAUL!

CORINTH corrupt the word of God (2Co 2:17) For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. walking in craftinessnor handling the word of God deceitfully (2Co 4:2) But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

30. V. Do we really have the Word of God!
