4 “My god would not send me to hell for lying” “My Jesus is a god of love. He would not condemn anyone!” “My Jesus did not teach against things like divorce or homosexuality. He wants those people to be happy and love whomever they want!”

5 Exodus 20:5… He is a “jealous God”… Hosea and Gomer – Idolatry is spiritual harlotry/adultery – For they provoked Him with their high places, And aroused His jealousy with their graven images (Psalm 78:58). “Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy?” (1 Corinthians 10:22).

6 What is it that gives your life meaning, purpose, and fulfillment? What would you not give up to serve the Lord? What are you most passionate about? What consumes your time, energy and affection?

7 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. – 1 Corinthians 10:14
