2. Climate and Terrain The climate in Belize is tropical and is very hot and humid. The terrain of Belize is flat, has swampy coastal plains and there are low mountains and beaches.

4. Plants and Animals In Belize there are many types of plants and animals. For instances some of the plant types are the Mangrove tree, the Jamaican Palm tree, and the Tropical Almond tree The animal species in Belize are the endangered black howler monkey, the Jaguar, and the Jamaican Baboon. 5. Environmental Issues In Belize the people hunt the Black Howler Monkey and that is causing these animals to slowly stop existing. There are a lot of men hunting these animals and the Zoo’s in Belize are trying to get these animals placed in captivity. Black Howler Monkey
