2 Highlights of Gear Changes Blue plastic guard added to head of new litter. Triple length slings now Dog ‘n Tails Extenders. Only one spacer now on brake bar racks. Butterfly top loop enlarged on litter front bridle. 2 nd rigging plate added for belay to each station. – Consider packing evac stations with gear on the plate. Pre-rigged radiums are on both racks for recert.

4 Schedule 0700 hrs: CMRU truck on location – Truck parked in same place as our last trainings, above the Hoodoo Shops and below the tubing area. 0800 hrs: Evaluators Meet near tubing area 1000 hrs: Deschutes Exam Begins. – CMRU members are encouraged to watch from a distance and learn 1200 hrs: Deschutes Exam Ends 1300 hrs: CMRU members please be at Hoodoo 1330 hrs: CMRU members meet at CMRU truck 1400 hrs: CMRU Exam Begins ~1630 hrs: CMRU Exam ends ~1700 hrs: OMRC meeting and BBQ (please bring something to share) – all members invited and encouraged to attend – Location: 2 nd flr of Hoodoo Ski Patrol Lodge Members invited to spend night in Ski Patrol Lodge if they wish

8 Unit Equipment Hasty Team - Extra beacon(s) for subject(s) - 2 sleeping bags, bivy sack, pad - Med pack, KTD, p/t warmer - Stove - Climbing rope - 3 pickets - Wands to mark route - Probe line string (it's in the basket with beacons) - Jim takes extra probe(s) and shovel(s) - Nate has Ortovox (can hear # of beacons) - Jim has Pieps DSP (can locate fast) Team 2 - Cascade toboggan - Complete evac station - 6 pickets - Stove - Handful of wands - Med pack Team 3 - TBA based on initial report from Hasty Team - Could be 2nd evac station - Could be 2nd litter - Could be more pickets and 2nd evac station - Med pack
