5 Budget Timeline June 18-19: Assembly Action – Two Democratic amendments (no amendments supported by Democratic caucus) – Republican substitute amendment June 20-21: Senate Action – 54 Democratic amendments – Zero Republican amendments Gubernatorial action – Governor expected to issue vetoes and sign bill into law on Sunday

6 Legislative Action AA 3 to ASA 1 to AB 40 – Technical corrections – School voucher modifications (expected Gubernatorial veto) – Modifications to various property tax exemptions, sale of state owned property, specific projects – Prohibit ordinances assessing fees on real estate brokers – Payday loan provisions (applicable to payday loans, not installment loans)
