15 Welcome to Great Britain! Welcome to Great Britain!  The UK consists of four countries – England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The capital of these parts are London, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast. There are lots of words, connecting with the Great Britain in general. These are – the Royal family, a foggy island, old castles, red buses, football and tea.  Tea is the favorite British drink. All people in Britain have got their own habits, traditions and symbols.  The main symbol of the UK is the Queen. She is the only person in Britain with two birthdays. It is a real country with its own geography, economy, culture, political system and, of course, nature.  Nature is very beautiful and fascinating. The climate is rather cool and changeable. There are lots of parks, gardens in Great Britain.  Great Britain’s official language is English. It is the first language of international communication. If you are going to visit Great Britain – you’re a very happy person!
